The actor Vijay was injured while shooting for his upcoming film 'Thuppakki' which is directed by A.R. Murugadoss.

The movie team has recently flied to London to shoot some of the action sequences of the film. While shooting the action sequences Vijay get injured.

A.R. Murugadoss said that "We were filming an action sequence that required Vijay to jump from a height. When he touched down the land, he slipped his leg a little and hurt his knee in the process. Unfortunately, he hasn't used a knee-pad that might have prevented the injury."

He adds that "We have finished that particular scene despite the fact that Vijay was in some pain."

Emraan Hashmi, Abhay Deol, Kalki, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Farooque Sheikh and Pitobash starrer 'Shanghai' had an average first weekend at the box office.

The film started slow, but showed decent growth at high end multiplexes on Saturday and Sunday.  The positive words from the mouth of the audience helped the film to show some growth on Saturday and Sunday.

'Shanghai' first weekend breakup :-

Friday – Rs. 3.35 crore, Saturday – Rs. 4.25 crore and Sunday – Rs. 4.50+ crore.

Working with Big B like working with god: Rohit Shetty

Director Rohit Shetty, who roped in Amitabh Bachchan to feature in a promotional song for his forthcoming movie "Bol Bachchan", says working with the megastar was like working with god.

"I don't know whether this moment will come in my life again or not. I am working with Mr. Bachchan. It's like I am working with god," the 39-year-old said here.

Shetty is in awe of the 69-year-old veteran.

"I am still in awe that I am working with him. It is the first time in my career that I have got a photo clicked with any actor deliberately," he said.

"Bol Bachchan" stars Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Asin Thottumkal and Prachi Desai. It is slated for release July 6.
