The National Award winning director Sarkunam now all set to team up with another National Award winner, Dhanush, for his next film.

The director said that "Yes, Dhanush has agreed to play the lead in my next film and has signed up for the film though we are yet to confirm the producer."

 Like his first film 'Kalavani' this film will also be a romantic comedy set in rural Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile the director is still in the process of finalizing the rest of the cast and crew, including the leading lady for the film.

Sarkunam has already come up with a unique title for the film. The film has been titled as 'Sotta Vazhakutty! '

Sarkunam says that the meaning of the title "Just like how we say 'super figure' to describe a beautiful girl, 'sotta vazhakutty' is a colloquial term used in rural Tamil Nadu to describe a charming man."

Prithviraj, Prabhu Deva, Arya, Genelia D'Souza, Nithya Menon and Vidya Balan starrer 'Urumi: Padhinaintham Nootrandu Uraivaal' which is directed by Santosh Sivan had an average first weekend at the U.K box office.

In the first weekend the film has approximately collected Rs. 409,712 on 10 screens in the U.K box office and the average working out per screen Rs. 40,999.

It was distributed by Ayngaran International in UK.

The Bollywood actor Mahesh Manjrekar is the new addition for Vishnuvardhan's next film.

Mahesh Manjrekar will be playing main villain for Ajith and for the first time Mahesh Manjrekar in Tamil film industry. The untitled film has Ajith, Arya, Nayantara and Taapsee in the lead roles.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring music for the film, P.S. Vinodh is handling cinematography and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad.

A.M Ratnam is producing the film under the banner of Sri Satya Sai Movies. The untitled has launched today (31.5.2012) in Chennai and the first schedule will be start from June 2 in Mumbai.

Multi-tasking helps Genelia balance home, work

Genelia D'Souza, who married Riteish Deshmukh in February this year, says contrary to popular belief nothing has changed in her life after marrige and she faces no problem in managing home and work.

"Nothing has changed. Everyone says that things change, but I am practically the same person and I hope I always will be," she said at the launch of her television show "The Chosen One", which will come on UTV Stars.

"All of us are modern age girls and we can multi-task and that's what I do. As much as my home means the world to me, I give my work the same priority," she said.

Genelia and Riteish, who first met while shooting for their debut film "Tujhe Meri Kasam" in 2003, tied the knot Feb 3.

When asked why she chose Riteish as her life partner, she quipped: "I think Riteish is the best… that's why."

Her last release was "Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya", which came soon after her marriage and now Genelia will be seen with actor Abhay Deol in "Rock The Shaadi".

The 'Siruthai' director Shiva who is directing Ajith's 53rd film clears the air.

There are some rumors that the director is going to remake his recent release in Telugu 'Daruvu' which has Ravi Teja in lead role. Siva will make some changes in script to suit Ajith.

 But Siva clears the air by saying "I don't know why people spread such rumors. Ajith sir's film will be new script, not remake of 'Daruvu'. It will be a mass entertainer."

Siva clarifiers one more rumor by adding "There were a few date problems with Anushka but we will be sorting it out soon. After Ajith completes his 52nd film with Vishnuvardhan our film will start rolling."
