Mini Garden Gnomes
Garden gnomes get a bad rap. If you're being kind you might describe them as kitshy. If you're feeling less generous - tacky. But what if you and your kids could make your own and decorate them? Well, you can - using basic craft store supplies and some empty toilet paper rolls. Make a few for a pot of flowers or a whole village for the garden!
Jasper's Nursery
Name: Jasper (2)
Location: Melbourne, Australia

Here is Jasper's bright, delightful room. Though the room feels highly designed, his mother Kate explains that it was necessity, rather than a taste for luxury, that brought disparate elements together to work in harmony.
Cupcake Pinata

Darth Vader and Son
What if Darth Vader, in addition to his duties to the Galactic Emperor, also had to juggle the responsibilities of fatherhood? Namely looking after his 4-year-old son, Luke Skywalker. That's the premise of a new comic book from Chicago indie cartoonist, Jeffrey Brown. Yep, it's as funny and nerdy as it sounds. And further evidence that parenthood has a profound effect on everyone, even if you're the Dark Lord of the Sith.
