Weekend Guide April 6
It's the first weekend of April, bringing us one step closer to the lazy days of summer. Until then, there's still time to feather our nests. This week we're seeing sales from Serena & Lily and AllModern (shown above, respectively), as well as the launch of the Venice Meet in LA and the last of Alessi & Scavolini's Italy Comes Alive series in New York. Check it all out in The Weekend Guide, pass it on and send us your own sale or event.
Peaches' Bungalow House Tour
Name: Peaches Freund
Location: Chicago, Illinois

When we got a tiny glimpse of Peaches' home last year in a house call, we knew that we needed to see more. She has a knack for making beautiful objects out of unusual materials, and the sense of adventure and fun she brings to this vigilante crafting carries over into her home, with fantastic results.

Backyard Before & After
We took a tour of the inside of Tim & D'Arcy's home, and now we're back to see what they've done with their backyard. They took an empty, awkward, and narrow outdoor space and created a stunning garden haven. The use of textures, walkways, plant heights, and garden boxes have really tuned this once plain jane backyard into something very inviting and dynamic.

DIY Cinderblock Planters
When we start talking about outdoors and all the fun things to make, build or plant, there is always one project that immediately comes to my mind: cinder block planters. They've been on my DIY must do list for years now and maybe this year — this year will really be the year!
