I’m lucky to work with Shah Rukh again: Anushka

Anushka Sharma has been roped in for Yash Chopra's next untitled film, in which she teams up with Shah Rukh Khan again. The model-turned-actress says that she never imagined that she would get another chance to work with the superstar.

Anushka made her debut opposite Shah Rukh in "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi".

"I didn't think I will get a chance to work with Shah Rukh again after my first film, but I did. So, I am the lucky one. I look forward to it. Mr. Yash Chopra is an institution in himself literally. I guess I would get to learn a lot from that film," Anushka told reporters Thursday at the unveiling of India Today's women health magazine.

"I have not started the shooting yet. I will be joining the crew from May onwards right after my birthday, which is on May 1. So I will start shooting from May 2. I am very excited. I think it is any actor's dream to work with Yash Chopra," she added.

Chopra's film also features Katrina Kaif.

The 23-year-old also signed Vishal Bhardwaj's "Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola", which is a completely different film. Directed by Rony Shaha, the comedy is being produced by Bhardwaj and it features Imran Khan in the male lead.

Anushka, who has recently finished the first schedule of the film in Rajkot, says the film is different from what she has done so far.

"I am really happy to be working with Vishal Bhardwaj. We just finished a schedule in Rajkot and we are back. He really is a genius director. He knows how much of what you need to use and portray that in his films."

"For me, it was a little different. The kind of films that I have done was different from this one. I was nervous in the beginning, but I think it's going really well and I am really looking forward to it."

Big B to be honoured for polio work

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is Unicef's brand ambassador against polio, says he will be honoured for his contribution to the cause.

"And the organisation that acknowledges social work for a cause, will honour yours truly for the work done as UNICEF ambassador for the fight against polio, which as you know has had some rather encouraging achievements," Amitabh wrote on his blog bigb.bigadda.com.

In February, the World Health Organisation (WHO) had taken India off the list of polio endemic countries. The 69-year-old was delighted to know that no case of polio reported last year.

"For an entire year there has been no case of polio reported in the country for the first time since the campaign began. That is fantastic for a country plagued with the disease for years," he said.

A study commissioned by the health ministry and UNICEF and conducted by the Social and Rural Research Institute found that 73.6 percent guardians with children under the age of five in lower socio-economic categories could recall the polio TV ad featuring the star.

"A gentle pat on the back, if I may. There is more to come, and when it does I shall inform. It is for another cause I have worked on. A most rewarding experience," said Big B.

Singer Rihanna says she does not need a man to make her happy.

The 24-year-old insists people should not worry too much about finding love as it comes along when least expected.

"Being in love is definitely a big part of happiness, but you have to find joy on your own first. You can't wait for a man to make you happy," showbizpsy.com quoted Rihanna as saying.

"If a man is the one thing missing from your life, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll be unhappy. There's so much else. I think people focus on love a lot. Often when you're looking, that's exactly when you don't find it," she added.

In the U.K box office the film was debuted in No. 15th place. The film has collected Rs. 36,87,799 on 17 screens and average work out per screen Rs. 2,16,911.

The film has debuted at No. 2nd place in the Malaysia box office. '3' has approximately collected Rs. 2,37,69,993 on 60 screens and the average work out per screens Rs. 3,96,147.
