Amitabh Bachchan’s look in Ram Gopal Varma’s Department are out and the debate is on whether the get-up brings back memories of the superstar’s forbidding persona in the 2005 film Sarkar. Varma’s new film casts Big B as Sarjerao Gaikwad, a gangster-turned-politician. The film sets out to narrate the story of Mumbai cops and how they deal with the city’s ruthless mafia. Department also stars Sanjay Dutt, Naseeruddin Shah, Rana Daggubati, Vijay Raaz and Abhimanyu Singh, along with Anjana Sukhani and Laxmi Manchu. Kingfisher calendar girl Nathalia Kaur makes her debut as an item dancer in the film, which is slated for a May 18 release. |

Young hero Karthi’s much awaited movie Saguni directed by Shankar Dayal which has completed the shooting of all the songs. Saguni,produced by Antony Xavier under Dream Warrior Pictures and music by G.V.Prakash has composed five mass numbers for Saguni, which are choreographed by four different dance directors. Choreographer Prem Rakshith has composed the opening song and well noted Raju Master made Karthi shake legs for other two songs. Karthi has recently completed the songs shooting in Poland dancing for the melody number with Praneetha.Saguni has one of its songs choreographed by Bobby Antony, while Baba Baskar did a special number. |
