If you consider yourself to be an eccentric, a person who loves to have fun beyond belief, or a weird beard, then this tutorial on how to make baby head-shaped ice cubes might be right up your alley. While most party hosts have boring cubes shaped like stars and snowflakes, you will definitely get some reaction out of these, though what said reactions will be remains to be seen.

Weston, FL, has banned nightclubs, dance halls, and skating rinks (really?) in an effort to curb violence, thus propagating the stereotype that it’s mostly the elderly who live in Florida. Fortunately, the city has agreed to allow school dances to occur, so kids will have an outlet to fist pump and dance poorly to Skrillex and Drake. John Lithgow or Kevin Bacon could not be reached for comment because they were presumably too busy face palming and shaking their heads.

Say What Now GOP Audio Clip of the Day

Republican legislator Rep. Virginia Foxx (NC), cares nothing for your student loans because you don’t need to borrow money for higher education. To wit (from Foxx herself): “I have very little tolerance for people who tell me that they graduate with $200,000 of debt or even $80,000 of debt because there’s no reason for that. We live in an opportunity society and people are forgetting that.”

So if we’ve learned anything from Republicans this election year, it’s [insert controversial statement about birth control here] and they don’t want to pay for your education, so get a job and pay for it yourself.

Late yesterday, gossip sites almost broke when this picture of Queen of the Universe Angelina Jolie surfaced, in which she’s rocking some serious jewelry. Nothing was confirmed until late Friday night, when Brad Pitt’s rep gave the ol’ wink and the gun in the form of a “yes, they are” press statement.

Kickass Cover of the Day

The three-kid Children Medieval Band, whose members are 5, 8 and 10 years old, covers “Sonne,” by German industrial metal legends Rammstein.

A parent/manager writes:

Only 5 yrs and 8 mo, Cornelia is helping her older brother and sister to record one of their favorite songs. Rammstein has some amazing compositions, likeable to younger kids too.

Exactly. It is a mystery why Kidz Bop has never released a version of “Du Hast.”

To the surprise of EVERYONE, controversial and totally batsh*t insane rapper Lil B stopped by NYU earlier this week to give a lecture about… well… I’m just gonna leave these gems here:

  • “Every single person you meet, look at them like a golden million dollar baby.”
  • “I’m the first rapper to adopt a tabby cat. I adopted it straight from the ASPCA, you feel me?”
  • “Let’s stop fracking. Who knows about hydraulic fracking? I’m like whodie, get that oil out the ocean!”
