Location: Austin, Texas Mark's first impression upon seeing a tiny photo of the exterior of this house in the MLS listing was that this looked like a "house." An archetypal structure, with a gable roof and a homey feeling. Like what you think of when you think of "home." | | | | | | | | | | | I love modern patios. The clean, straight lines and modular forms contrasted with the organic flow of mother nature makes for a really nice pairing. The look is striking, and while I don't have a yard to call my own, these drool-worthy modern outdoor spaces are enough to keep me satisfied for now. | | | | | | | | | | | This weekend, my mom called with some sad news about her dog, Dakota. She'd had to put him down unexpectedly. His pillow and toys make her heart ache right now, but someday my mom will want to remember her sweet Dakota.
