Rajinikanth watched 3 Movie Posted: 05 Mar 2012 09:37 AM PST According to the sources, 3 movie director Aishwarya Dhanush organized a special screening of 3 for Super Star Rajinikanth. The superstar loved the film we hear and was full of praise for the performances. The sad climax however bothered him deeply and he has suggested that they give the film a positive ending. Dhanush and Aishwarya were grateful for his feedback and are giving serious consideration to his constructive feedback. So will 3 have the happy ending Rajini wants or the original sad ending? We will just have to keep guessing till the film is released.

Arya with Ajith in remake of Bollywood ‘Race’? Posted: 05 Mar 2012 09:24 AM PST It is no longer news that Thala Ajith, Arya and Nayantara will be coming together for a project to be helmed by Vishnuvardhan of 'Billa' fame. The latest doing the rounds is that this film will be a remake of Bollywood blockbuster 'Race'! 'Race' is a multi-starrer that saw Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna as brothers and the film focused on sibling rivalry and is a high voltage action entertainer that garnered much critical acclaim, thanks to its slick visuals and screenplay. Both the brothers have shades of grey and music will be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Nayantara who bid an adieu to films will be back to Tamil cinema through this yet to be titled venture and it is said that the makers have roped her in for a whooping price. While Ajith is busy with work on 'Billa 2′, Arya is currently shooting for 'Irandam Ulagam' with director Selvaraghavan. An official announcement listing the cast and crew is expected shortly.

The much-talked about film-maker is probably going through a very good phase in his life and career. In the past year, he has turned things around in his personal life. After a rather unexpected reverse in his married life, thanks to a divorce, he re-married and became the father of a girl. Also, on the professional front, his ‘Mayakkam Enna’ with brother Dhanush playing the protagonist, earned him critical acclaim. It may be recalled that Selvaraghavan married his assistant Geethanjai in July last year and the couple were blessed with a girl some time ago. Presently, Selvaraghavan is busy with ‘Irandam Ulagam’ which stars among others Arya and Anushka Shetty.

She has now been admitted at a private hospital and she is battling for life. sources says that Alphonsa swallowed sleeping pills last evening before she was discovered unconscious by her family at her residence. The item girl was immediately rushed to Vadapalani Vijaya hospital. It is said that the trouble in her love life might have made her to end her life. Recently, her alleged boyfriend named Vinod Kumar surrendered to death by hanging himself to a ceiling fan at their residence. It came after a strained relationship. This is believed to be the reason behind her suicide attempt.

No stripping for any film : Veena Malik Posted: 05 Mar 2012 05:02 AM PST It looks like Pakistan’s controversy queen, Veena Malik, may be taking her being-in-the-buff image a step further in Rajeev Ruia’s Zindagi 50:50. Veena is playing a sex worker and reports are that she is going nude for the film. “When Rajeev approached me with the role, he wasn’t very confident about whether I would be able to pull it off. I prefer playing a bad girl rather than a cute, bubbly one. My ideal role has to be negative, strong and performance-driven,” says Veena. So is she stripping for the film? “I’m not stripping for any film. I have never gone nude nor does the film have such scenes. There are a few bold scenes, but they are aesthetically shot. Veena recently aped Angelina Jolie’s now famous Oscar pose on the runway. She says, “Nothing was actually planned. When I wore the gown, my legs were sticking out and that was the only way I could have posed. If you see the picture, I have no fancy hairdo either.”

Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan in english Posted: 05 Mar 2012 04:45 AM PST Supperstar Rajinikanth's magnum opus Kochadaiyaan that will release in four languages Everyone’s looking forward to Kochadaiyaan. It has been a while since Rajinikanth made his outing to the big screen. The latest we hear is that the film is nearly 70 per cent completed and will release, not just in 3D, but in four languages. A highly-placed source from the sets tells us, “The film will release only in 3D. The film, in fact, is being shot in the format already. The film has been in the making since late last year and it is nearly 70 per cent complete.” The next schedule will be shot in London. “Soundharya is shooting the film briskly and she is ensuring that she can release her film at the earliest,” says the source. The film, which is being jointly produced by a Mumbai-based production house that’s also part of Rana, will release in four languages. When quizzed, Dr Murali Manohar, co-producer of the film, said, “Yes, the film, apart from being released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, is likely to be released in another language, which is a surprise.” But, when asked if that would mean a release in English, he evaded it by saying, “We’re working out the logistics. It will be a big surprise for everyone.” Surely, the Superstar’s newest release is going to be a massive one!
