With such people around we know that there are no boundaries for innovations. Cinematographer Santosh Sivan seems to be enjoying his work thoroughly as he has been trying out all the new techniques. The ace cinematographer has updated in a micro-blogging site, "Most of Thuppakki is being shot in real locations, with hidden cameras". Similarly, choreographer Shobi Paulraj, who recently shot for a song in the film updated, "Last week, we shot the song in Thuppakki. The song was sung by Mr.Vijay, and composed by Mr.Harris Jayaraj. It was a superb experience... And for first time I'm working with Santhosh Sivan sir. It was unforgettable. Audio is superb... hope visual also comes out well..." With such stalwarts working in the film, we can expect a visual treat for sure!   |
| TN Government initiative on Vijay's film Posted: 27 Mar 2012 12:37 AM PDT The inmates of Salem Central Jail got a special treat as they got to watch Vijay starrer Nanban on Sunday. This is part of an initiative taken by the government to treat prisoners more humanely. Extra curricular activities are arranged once in a while to give them some release from the rigours of prison life. Needless to say, Nanban was enjoyed by the prisoners and gave their morale a big boost. Nanban directed by Shankar is a remake of Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots and has Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj and Ileana in the lead. Music is by Harris Jeyaraj.   |
