Tribute for Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja

After the winning appreciation for his recent live concert and now Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja has been keeping his fans excited.

Now Isaignani's daughter Bhavatharini is planning to organize a world tour to celebrate the silver jubilee of Ilaiyaraaja's non-film ventures.

Bhavatharini says that "Twenty five years ago, my father set out to create an album that was an inspired celebration of Bach and Thiagaraja. The result was the album How To Name It, and it quickly captured the hearts of millions, Today, She planning to organize live performances to celebrate 25 years of How to Name It. We are planning a world tour of this show, which will be performed by Ganesh and Kumraesh."

Yuvan Shankar Raja, Karthik Raja, Venkat Prabhu, Premgiamaren and Vasuki Bhaskar are also singing in the world tour.

Nithin and Nithya Menon starrer 'Ishq' gets 'U/A' certification by the regional censor board. The film is all set to hit the screens on February 24.

It was directed by Vikram Kumar and produced by Vikram Goud under the banner of Shreshta Movies. Anoop Rubens has scored music for the film the film and the songs are making some waves among the audience.

PC Sreeram is handling the cinematography and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad.

The Hollywood super hero film 'Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance' which is produced in the budget of Rs. 279 crore ($57 million) is dubbed and releasing big Tamil Nadu.

The dubbed version of the Hollywood film has been titled as 'Kala Bhairavan 2'. The dubbed version will be released by Ramanarayanan's Thenandal Pictures.

The film is all set to release in maximum screens on February 24th, because there is no other big actors films are running in Tamil Nadu screens right now. 'Kala Bhairavan 2' is releasing in Tamil Nadu with 124 prints on February 24.

Indira Gandhi biopic on Vidya’s wish list

Vidya Balan came out of her comfort zone and delivered a blockbuster like "The Dirty Picture". And now the actress is keen to do a film on extra marital affairs or a biopic on late prime minister Indira Gandhi.

Talking about her choice of scripts, she told IANS: "Action is not something I would want to do. I want to do a nice 'Arth' kind of a film on extra marital affair which these days we often get to hear or maybe a biopic on Indira Gandhi."

Post the success of "The Dirty Picture", every director is keen to work with Vidya, but when asked which director she would want to work with, she said: "I want to work with Gulzar."

If Gulzar is known for penning melodious lyrics like "Mera rang lai lay" to peppy Hinglish song "Kajra re", he is equally known for his directorial skills which he showed with films like "Parichay", "Angoor", "Maachis" and "Hu Tu Tu".

Vidya is happy with her Bollywood projects and does not want to get into Southern films.

"In south, they don't write many roles for actresses. I am happy here," the 33-year-old said.
