Milind Soman is the new cast in Karthi starrer 'Alex Pandian' which is directe by Suraj. The film has Anushka Shetty in female lead role and Snathanam, Nikhita Thukral and Sanusha in supporting roles.

Soruce says that "Milind Soman is playing baddie role in the film and it's the second Milind is playing baddie role in Karthi's film, earlier he has played baddie role in 'Paiyaa'.

The film has yet another villain in the film and it was Suman. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring music for the film. It was produced by K.E Ganavelraja under the banner of Studio Green.

No problem going topless: Jennifer Aniston

Actress Jennifer Aniston, who appears topless in her latest project "Wanderlust", says she was unfazed about baring her chest.

The 43-year-old says she really enjoyed filming in Clarkesville, Georgia, where no one batted an eyelid about nude actors getting make-up applied to their entire body, reports thesun.co.uk.

"You do get nervous when there's a day where it's oops, I'm naked. I wouldn't go topless for a cause, going to such an extreme to make a difference. But we've been among these people in this environment for almost two months. The topless scene was nothing compared to what happened in the two months prior," said Aniston.

"There was an actor naked the whole time getting his touch-ups and everybody else just having a normal conversation," she added.

Aniston says filming "Wanderlust" was as fun as shooting long-running US sitcom "Friends".

"There was a real community feeling. We were in the middle of nowhere and we were all a hop, skip and a jump from each other peppered around this lake. The farthest people were 20 minutes away. After work we had dinner together and we spent the weekends together," she said.

In "Wanderlust", Aniston plays Manhattan girl Linda who, along with her husband George (Paul Rudd), ditches the city for a simpler life in a free-love hippy commune.

As the Wikileaks expose last year - that shamed governments the world over - shows, one man's act of defiance - Private Bradley Manning - and another man's desire to help him - Julian Assange - can indeed change the world. "Safe House" pays homage (without perhaps intending to) to the Manning-Assange episode by building a credible and fast paced thriller.

Like other films in the sub-genre, most notably "Training Day", "Safe House" pits a rookie CIA agent with and against a highly experienced one. Here too Denzel Washington plays the wizened and toughened older man with a mission, while Ryan Reynolds plays one who has to both protect and fight him. The two together are pitted against adversaries greater than the rookie's wildest imagination.

Washington, as has been his forte, plays his character with many shades of grey with aplomb. However, as more pieces of the jigsaw puzzle are revealed, his character undergoes a transformation not only in the mind of the perennially on-edge young agent, but also the audience. The mystery, though expected, gets a grand sweep thanks to the corruption in espionage as exposed by the Wikileaks episode.

The film is backed by a credible performances from both Washington and Reynolds. The first plays the experienced, expert manipulator, while the latter is good as the man both scared and awed by his senior.

Another high-point of the movie is its action. Those bred on the "Transformers" type special effects-laden-action will be bored, but those who like the "Bourne" style of action, will be thrilled by its raw, gritty fight sequences, gun battle and car chases through Cape Town, South Africa.

Yet, there are many things which the film could have done better. Despite a very good pace throughout, it falters towards the end, slowing down to deliver its messages. That could have been edited. In a film, the best message is the one which is not delivered, yet felt by the audience.

Secondly, though the film takes material from various sources and mixes and them, it does not really do anything original with them despite making an attempt. Perhaps it was the inexperience of debutant director Daniel Espinosa that is to be blamed for this.

Yet, beyond all its flaws, what holds the film strongly together is the power-packed performance of its actors, especially Denzel Washington. Unlike many others before him, he seems to have gotten better after an Oscar, developing an uncanny ability of taking anything offered to him, and raising the bar with his compelling acting. "Safe House" is safe, because Washington is in it.
Verdict: A snappy, serious thriller

I’ve always admired Rekha: Vidya Balan

If Vidya Balan's sari-clad, traditional look is reminiscent of the evergreen Rekha, the similarity is meant to be! The actress says she has always been inspired by Rekha, be it her looks, her attitude or her body of work.

At a recent award function in Mumbai, the two actresses looked quite similar, and Vidya only feels flaterred with the compliment.

"This is the biggest compliment. I am inspired by Rekha. She is who she is and I have always admired her. When she was doing films, she was doing commercial as well as non-commercial films. She has been an inspiration on that (front)," Vidya told reporters here.

"Besides, I loved her styling and I love to wear saris. I love kanjeevaram saris. The image that I have of true Indian women, comes from Rekha and my mother. So, if people say I am like Rekha, then I am thrilled," added the 33-year-old.

Vidya is currently gearing up for her next film "Kahaani", directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The movie is scheduled for release March 9.

Ajith's 'Billa 2' shooting is in final stage and now the final schedule of the film is going in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, where Ajith's intro song will be shoot.

And also the album is in final mixing stage. The film music director of the film Yuvan Shankar Raja said that all the songs for the film have been tuned and now the audio is on final mixing stage.

 'Billa 2' album has totally 6 tracks including a theme. The audio of the film is expected to launch on March middle or end.

The film has Ajith Kumar, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah in lead roles. 'Billa 2' was directed by Chakri Toleti and it was produced by Suresh Balaje, George Pius and Sunir Khetrapal under the banners of Wide Angle Creations and In Entertainment.

'Billa 2' will hit the screens on Ajith's birthday (May 1st).

Bollywood should look for stories in books: John

Actor John Abraham feels that instead of getting inspired by Hollywood films, Bollywood filmmakers should start adapting stories from books.

"Most of the time, in our industry we get a lot of inspiration from other films, especially English films. But I think the best inspiration you can get is out of books," the 39-year-old said here at the launch of the book "In A Bubble of Time."

"Even English films that have done well, got their inspiration out of books. So I think it's important to read and get new ideas and I think that is where we are limiting ourselves," he added.

If John was to make a film based on a book, which one would that be?

"I have been a great fan of 20th century fiction and I love Jeffry Archer. So, I have read all his books and if I have to make a Hindi picture I would definitely make it on a Jeffrey Archer book," he said.

The actor had featured in the film "7 Khoon Maaf" which was based on Ruskin Bond's short story "Susanna's Seven Husbands".

John is currently gearing up for his next release "Housefull 2″, scheduled to hit theatres April 5.
