Studio Green acquired Attakathi rights

'Attakathi' which is directed by Ranjit, who is a former associate director of Venkat Prabhu has getting very good response from its preview show.

The response from the preview show has gained everyone's attention. Now Studio Green has acquired the theatrical rights of the film and they will release the film worldwide.

The film has debutants Dinesh and Nanditha in lead roles. 'Attakathi' will have all the elements catering to the tastes of family audiences.

Santhosh Narayan scored music for the film. 'Attakathi' will be hit the screens on February and soon K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green will be announce the release date officially.

Aamir prays for Yuvraj’s quick recovery

The actor Aamir Khan says he is praying that cricket all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, battling lung cancer, recovers and returns to the field soon.

"He is a great fighter. My prayers go out for his quick recovery so that he returns to where he belongs, to the cricket field," said Aamir who arrived here Wednesday on a pleasure trip.

Yuvraj Singh has been diagnosed with a malignant tumour in his lung and is currently undergoing chemotherapy at the Cancer Research Institute in Boston.

The film has seen 81 percent drop down in business at the UK BO. In fourth weekend the film has approximately collected Rs. 1,31,948 on 2 screens and average working out per screen Rs. 65,998.

In the previous weekend the film has collected Rs. 7,24,773 on 4 screens and average working out per screen Rs. 1,81,181. 'Nanban' has totally collected Rs. 1,66,84,296 in 25 days at U.K box office.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan much awaited 'Gabbar Singh' first teaser will be out on Shivarathri. The producer of the film Ganesh Babu confirmed the news and said that 'Gabbar Singh' first look teaser will be out on Shivarathri (February 20).

The film shooting is currently under progress at Ramoji Film City. The film has Shruti Haasan in female lead role and the remake of Bollywood blockbuster 'Dabangg' was directed by Harish Shankar.

Devi Sri Prasad is scoring music for the film and it was produced by Ganesh Babu under Parameshwara Art productions banner. The film is expected to release on April 27, 2012.

Dam 999’s director’s next Saint Dracula 3D

Filmmaker Sohan Roy, whose "Dam 999″ missed out on getting an Oscar nomination, is set to move on with his next production venture "Saint Dracula 3D".

"Saint Dracula 3D" is about a powerful king of Romania, who has a very ordinary human side to his personality. If the conventional portrait of Dracula shows him as blood thirsty, "Saint Dracula" portrays him as a human being thirsty for love.

The Dracula in the film is someone who is loved and worshipped by the women of his land. He sacrifices his immortality for a woman he loves and hopes to marry.

The film will be directed by Rupesh Paul and BizTV Network will produce it.
