Before They Were Famous of the Day

Before They Were Famous of the Day: A pre-Linsanity Jeremy Lin — then with the Golden State Warriors — is challenged to a friendly game of PIG by a couple of idiots comedians.

Things go as expected for Lin until he gets a bit cocky mid-way through the game, and, well… let’s just say it’s fitting that a comedian gets the last laugh.

Short Film of the Day:This Is My Home“: A short profile of a New York City curio collector whose home is regularly mistaken for a vintage shop.

Money: “This is my home. And I invite people in my home. They’ll stop outside while I’m sitting — usually in the summertime — they’ll stop and say, “what is this?” And I tell them, “well, go inside, satisfy your curiosity, and then come out and tell me what it is, ’cause I don’t know!”

Is Nothing Sacred? of the Day

Posted: 21 Feb 2012 10:14 AM PST

Is Nothing Sacred? of the Day: Vivid Entertainment has released a safe-for-work trailer for their latest porn parody: Pee-Wee’s XXX Adventure.

Partial synopsis:

Pee Wee loves Dolly more than anything else in the world. The only thing is, she’s not human. She’s a doll. But Pee Wee doesn’t want to admit it. To him — and only him — she’s as real as the bowtie around his neck, much to the chagrin of Lizzy, a sex worker with a heart of gold who longs for Pee-Wee as much as Pee-Wee lusts for Dolly.

Ouch. My childhood.

Not The Onion of the Day

Not The Onion of the Day

Not The Onion of the Day: A Minnesota man recently filed a lawsuit against his uncle for uploading an unflattering Christmas photo to Facebook.

In his harassment suit, Aaron Olson says his uncle posted childhood photos of him on Facebook, and proceeded to add “mean comments” underneath. Among the offending photos: “[Olson] posing in front of a Christmas tree.”

When confronted, the uncle, Randall LaBrie, agreed to untag Olson, but suggested that if he didn’t care for the photos “he should stay off Facebook.”

After the district court tossed out Olson’s request for a harassment restraining order against LaBrie, he took his case to the Court of Appeals, which also turned him down.

In its ruling, the court determined that mean comments “coupled with innocuous family photos” do not adversely effect “the safety, security, or privacy of another.”
