Varalakshmi Sarathkumar next film, Sarathkumar daughter Varalakshmi next film, Varalakshmi pairing up with Naga Chaitanya, Varalakshmi in Naga Chaitanya's next, 



Varalakshmi, daughter of Sarath Kumar who is signed to signed to do pair up with Simbu in 'Poda Podi' few years ago. For various reason the film getting delayed, but now the actress banged a big film.

Varalakshmi is going to play the female lead role opposite Naga Chaitanya. The bilingual has been titled as 'Gauravam' and it will be directed by Radha Mohan.

 Source says that "The director of the film Radha Mohan did a photo shoot with the leading starts to check the compatibility of the starts and was pleased with the outcome."

And the actress side source confirmed the news and said that "The actress is waiting for her debutant film 'Poda Podi' completion. It's high time for the actress to do a film with Naga Chaitanya under his dad Nagarjuna's Annapoorna Studio banner."

The national award winning director Vetrimaaran's next film 'Vada Chennai' which already have Simbu, Rana Daggubati and Andrea in the lead role and will also going to have one another female lead role.

The team now search for another heroin role and now talks are on with Divya Spandana. It heard that the actress paying attention to do a pivot role in the film.

Amy Jackson the British model who has made her debut in acting in a Tamil film 'Madrasapattinam' is going to play one of the two female leads in the film 'Yevadu'.

The actress is pairing up with Ram Charan Teja in the film which is directed by Vamsi Paidipalli. It was produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.

The producer of the film Dil confirmed the news and said that "Amy Jackson and Samantha have been confirmed to play the female lead role in the film and we will start shooting from February 13th."

Joker is not comedy: Shrish Kunder

Editor-turned-director Shirish Kunder says his much ambitious 3D project "Joker" is not a comedy film unlike what the title suggests.

"'Joker' has some humour but its not a comedy. Maybe because of the word 'Joker', it is presumed as a comedy. But even 'Mera Naam Joker' was not a comedy," the 38-year-old posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles, the film is set for a 2012 release.

Kunder, married to choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan, denied the film was inspired by 2010 Hollywood film "Alice in Wonderland". He says the only thing common between both the projects is the fantasy factor.

"Joker" is being jointly produced by Kunder and Farah's Three's Company and Akshay Kumar's Hari Om Entertainment Co.

In the past, Kunder has edited films like "Main Hoon Na" and "Om Shanti Om". His debut directorial movie "Jaan-E-Mann" released in 2006.
