Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul starrer 'Vettai' which is directed by Linguswamy has seen a good opening weekend.

The film has approximately collected Rs. 44,54,955 on 34 screens in its first  weekend at US box office. Average working out per screen Rs. 1,31,032.

Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth and Ileana starrer 'Nanban' which is directed by Shankar had an excellent opening weekend at the overseas also.

The film has debuted at 13th place in the UK box office. 'Nanban' has approximately collected Rs. 88,05,886 on 24 screens in its opening weekend at the UK BO.  Average working per screens Rs. 3,66,901.

In the Australia box office 'Nanban' has debuted at 18th place. The film has approximately collected Rs. 40,08,603 on 7 screens in the opening weekend and average working per screen Rs. 5,72,672.

'Nanban' is debuted at No.1 Place at the Malaysia box office, but the collection report are not yet revealed.

Billa 2 overseas sold out for $1 million

Billa 2 movie overseas rights, GK Media acquired overseas rights of Billa 2, Billa 2 overseas rights sold for record price, Billa 2 overseas sold amount, 



Ajith's much expected 'Billa 2' overseas rights have sold by GK Media; an US based Tamil film Distribution Company. The film has bought for a record price of $1 million (Rs. 5.3 crore).

Ajith with the Billa 2 joins the reign of Rajini, Kamal, Vijay and Surya whose films costs high distribution rights in overseas.

'Billa 2' was sold for the highest ever for an Ajith film in overseas and it is sold 30% more than his previous film 'Mankatha' which is sold for Rs. 3.75 crore.

Singer Katy Perry has been turned into a computer game character by video game company.

The 27-year-old, who recently split from husband Russell Brand, will appear in the game called "The Sims 3 Showtime", which will be released in March this year, reports contactmusic.com.

"I love how you're able to play out different stories through your Sims characters - giving them different careers and watching them succeed… I always like to think of myself as a cartoon, and now I'm a Sim!" contactmusic.com quoted Perry as saying.

In the game, fans will be able to play as Perry and will also get goodies named after the singer.

Singer Rihanna sometimes works out at 2 a.m., says her fitness expert Ary Nunez.

Nunez, who has been working with the 23-year-old for four years, says Rihanna is so obsessed with maintaining her trim figure and toned shape that she has the exercise guru on call at any time of the day.

"Working with an artist like Rihanna has different demands than most. We train when she's ready…even if we're on the road and it's 2 a.m. in the morning. I'm on call 24X7 with her," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Nunez as saying.
