Story :

Kaali Prasad (Prabhu) is a major force in the city of Vijayawada. He is immensely powerful and people come to him for help when all else is lost.

Vijay Krishna (Mukul Dev) and Jai Krishna ( Ajay ) are two brothers who work for him and are very close to Kali.

This is extremely hard for Kali's brother Shankar (Abhimanyu Singh) to digest and he sets about scheming to grab power. On a separate note Shiva Krishna (Naga Chaitanya), who is the brother of Vijay Krishna and Jai Krishna, is a college student who is in love with Geetanjali (Amala Paul). She happens to be the daughter of Police Commissioner Adi Vishnu (Ahuti Prasad).

A sequence of events unfold and in the game for power, a series of murders follow. Shiva Krishna is suddenly thrust into the murky world of factionism and power struggles.

A revenge drama follows and the rest of the story is about how Shiva Krishna sets about cleaning up the mess and correcting the balance of power..

Performances :

Naga Chaitanya yet again essays a mass role as a rough guy in Bejawada. His body language has improved but he is yet to work on his dialogue diction. Naga Chaitanya best suit for love stories than the intense mass action entertainers. Moreover, his character in Bejawada is poorly etched and the director has to take the blame.

Amala Paul:

She has very less screen presence.She is homely and sweet.Her looks slightly match with Priya Anand.Beside Naga chaitanya any actress can pull a decent performance.However, there is lot of mismatch in lip sink , especially in closeup scenes.Director should have taken care of such silly mistakes, that turn very costly on the screen.

Others:

Prabhu is perfect in the powerful role, Abhimanyu singh could have done better,
Mukul Dev dubbing is a disaster, it missed the native feel.Abimanyu singh is boring and torturous.His repetitive physcho acting is very irritating and his dubbing is very stupid..Kota Srinivas rao is wasted with useless character.Ahuti Prasad as SP is just ok.Brahmanandam and MS Narayana are idiotic and stupid.

Finally ,

Bejawada is a total disappointment. Neither it does provide entertainment, nor it provokes thoughts.

The movie doesn't deserve all the hype and publicity as it has nothing to do with the so-called rowdy/caste wars of Vijayawada city.

It is another mindless action movie with inconsistent narration, and bad production values....

Cat fights and cold wars are quite common between top league heroines but usually that happens when both are working together for the same film. However, it is now heard that a new war is shaping up and the interesting point is, the two heroines are not working in the same project.

Grapevine from filmnagar sources is that a cold war of sorts is brewing between Kajal Agarwal and Tamannah. The reason for that is Mahesh Babu. Well, Kajal is currently busy with the shooting of 'The Businessman' wherein she paired up with Mahesh. On the other hand, Tamannah will soon be pairing up with Mahesh for her new film under the direction of Sukumar.

Buzz is that both starlets are keen to prove that they are a better pair with Mahesh. In this process, it is also heard that they are doing their best to impress Mahesh and ensure that they get few positive bytes from him when he addresses the media. Sources say this is also leading to a jealousy factor between both. Let us see how this goes.
