Director Vettrimaran is all set to start his next project Vada Chennai soon. Telugu star Rana Dagubatti and Andreah have been roped in to play prominent roles in the film. There are also reports that the director is currently holding talks with three leading heroes in Kollywood and an official announcement is expected soon.

Reports say this film will narrate the story of a good fisherman who unwittingly falls in the trap of a mafia gang. As usual, this Vettrimaran flick will be set in the bylanes of Chennai with a realistic touch. The technical team comprises of Velraj (camera), G.V. Prakash (music) and Kishore (editing). The film is likely to go on floors in March 2012.

Vada Chennai will be produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri of Cloud Nine Movies.
